Collateral Onboarding Project-based Funding Request (PFR) - August 22, 2022
The Governance Facilitators have placed a Governance Poll into the voting system on behalf of the Collateral Engineering Services Core Unit (CES-001). This Governance Poll will be active for three days beginning on Monday, August 22 at 16:00 UTC.
This is a binary vote.
- You may vote for a single option.
- You should vote for the option which you prefer.
- If you would accept either option, you should vote 'Abstain'.
Review
The community can vote in this poll to express support or opposition to the following project-based spending detailed below. Note that the funding would be sourced from the previously approved CES-001 budget.
- 44,000 Dai or 45% of the Professional Services CES budget line item will be allocated to cover the following Scope of Work.
- 56,000 Dai or 40% of the Contingency Buffer CES budget line item will be allocated to cover the following Scope of Work.
Scope of Work:
- Fulfill the onboarding and management requirements of RWAs
- Utilize contractors/third parties to advise the domain teams in the areas of risk, legal, business terms, credit, etc. for the purposes of implementing RWAs
- Educate the community (Discord, forums, meetings) on the details of the RWA implementations
- If necessary, engage third parties to provide assessments relating to risk, terms, credit, or other areas deemed necessary by the domain teams
- Hire contractors to perform professional services on behalf of the CES core unit and domain teams

Outcomes
Regardless of the winning option the following actions will be taken at the conclusion of this poll:
- CES-001 will use the result to determine the core unit budget allocation.
- Any future action outside the scope of CES-001's budget will need to follow the existing Governance Framework.
